Practice and repetition can help children learn basic arthimetic facts. These facts serve as the building blocks for future learning.
With practice, children as young as seven years old can complete fifty math facts in about three minutes. Start with the simplest tests, and move to more difficult facts when easier ones are mastered.
When my son was in first grade, he had to answer fifty math facts in two and a half minutes. Once we ran out of the practice tests provided by his school, we needed a way to create new tests.
